New year, new experiences

Hmmmm well guys I just realized that I haven't updated my journal since December 10th when I was listening to "christmas music" :D:D:D lol it's a new year, a new experience and a lot of changes. So much has happened in the past year and even more in this new year already. There has been good and bad, challenges and triumphs. But I can feel the wind of change in my life. I know that things are changing and I am growing stronger and more confident with each painful experience. It hurts but sometimes we need to hurt in order to grow out of our old skin, to break out of that cocoon of habit and emerge as the beautiful butterfly that we are.

At the end of the day I learnt that we have to be happy to be who we are and confident in our own skin because there are people out there who will go to all lengths to make you believe that being YOU is not cool. But they are wrong, you are the coolest cat on the block (lol ^^;) and once you believe that, nobody can change that and make you believe otherwise.

Remember, hate people's attitudes, actions but don't hate them. Kill them with kindness and do more damage than attacking them with words and weapons (don't bring yourself down to their level). And most of all cherish your friendships because true friends will always love you and be there for you through thick and thin.

Hey max! it's so not funny that i am now seeing this :(

How have things been? well, i'm terribly busy and so tired and stressed. Today i worked ten hours and i just want to sleep :^^;: But i think i'm going to put on some animé and ease my stress lol you know how i like that :D How have you been? I'm sorry i've been such a bad friend, but does it help if i say i thought about you? :^^;: lol

Aw it's ok I don't think you are a bad friend at all! I know how busy you have been so it's no problem. I can imagine you must be sore after a 10 hour work day:( How has that been otherwise? How is your kitty? I hope she is ok. My rabbit is acting weird I think he might be dying ugh. I am about to eat dinner but I will reply to your note later. Take care and have a nice time relaxin:hug:

Hey thanks for understanding =P The busyness is ridiculous! And i just remembered i have homework for next week :^^;: lol. Arrrgh working sucks, not to mention having to wait an hour for transport to go home... Otherwise? hmmmmm things are okay, i have life and that's awesomeness in itself, i try to ignore the negative :) My kitty, she's miserable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol and I do mean ALL of the exclamation marks! lol And you won't believe - "she" aka Azrael, is a "he" o___0 lol hahaha yeah i know... =P I couldn't even guess myself and I still call "him" a "her" sometimes lol... well I guess manny would be having some problems now eh? :D :D :D =P

You have a rabbit? And he's sick? awwwww I hope you take him to the vet! It's so depressing when animals get sick, right now i need to save some money so i could take azrael to the vet for "his" shots.

Dinner? yummmmm I'm sure it's another culinary delight!

Thanks i fell asleep "relaxing", woke up and "relaxed" again and now im writing this before i go to bed again lol. Talk to u laterz :huggle:

I've just spent some time browsing your user page. Some comments :
* Nice drawings and the full body is cool for a first try ! In fact I also would like to draw nude and even bought a book about the human figure (Leonardo collection, Vinciana Editions)
* Your little fuzzball is a real Kittynator ! I'm glad I'm not a lizard.
* I know what the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago is now ! In fact one of my sisters is actually in Venezuela ! Don't hesitate to post other photos with plants and exotic stuff.
* Last but not least about your dreams coming true. My advice would be to choose the most accessible one (Few resources like money, short term like a few weeks or months, with the knowledge you have…;) and try to realize it. Once done pick a less accessible one (Medium term, learn what you need in books and stuff, find people to help…;) and so on… to finally turn the one you heartly care about into reality. It should make your confidence grow and motivate you along the way.

Sorry I'm a real chatter box but I found your deviantID inspiring.

"Merci encore pour ton commentaire" (Thanks again for your comment) and don't hesitate to learn French. It's a beautiful language. You could start by listening songs from Patricia Kaas (Mon mec à moi / My boyfriend, Quand j'ai peur de tout / When I'm afraid of everything…;) or Axelle Red (Qui connait la route / Who knows the road, Rester femme / Being a woman…;), Mickey 3D (Tu vas pas mourir de rire / You won't die laughing, it's about environmental issues) for example and try to translate them or something.

Oh and thank you for the book reccommendation, I will look into it as I would love to learn more about figure proportions etc.

*Thanks for the advice on achieving my goals, I would keep that in mind :) My most accessible goal right now is doing well in school so that I can graduate with honours :heart:
